Denne 2023er er intet mindre en sensationel og en af Tyskland's allerbedste. Citrus, fersken, brændt rød jord, gule æbler, orientalske krydderier og glimt af ananas findes i den prægtige næse. I smagen er vine her efter helt og alderes utrolig. Så ren, tør og præcis har Gillot's Pettenthal aldrig før været. Slank men afrundet og med detaljeret frugt over pirrende salte nuancer og vidunderlig perfekt moden syre, er dette Riesling GG på galaktisk niveau. It’s impossible to pick out a single wine of theirs because there are many great stars. The Kühling-Gillot PETTENTHAL is another extraordinary expression of this great terroir, with off-the scale-flint and smoke expression, but also great Amalfi lemon intensity...The complex flint and smoke expression of this wine is off the scale. And you can say the same about the balance of stony vibrancy and restrained richness on the extremely concentrated palate. The Amalfi lemon intensity and filigree at the finish are also off the scale. So refreshing you feel like you’ve been thrown into a mountain pool fed by glaciers."
