Solbærbusk, kirsebær, lakrids, blommer, orientalske krydderier, peber, eucalyptus, sød røg, tjære og chokolade strømmer fra glasset med ægte Roennfeldt Road størrelse. 95 points James Halliday: "Cabernet sauvignon sourced from the Utopos vineyard and made by Kym Teusner; matured in French oak foudre and barrique for 18 months. Bright blackberry and red cherry fruits of impressive purity are framed by hints of fine spice, licorice, tobacco leaf, cedar and earth. Some blackcurrant pastille notes flow in on the palate, which shows substantial, fine tannin grip and a bright cadence lending sustain to the finish. Impressive now but will cellar nicely."

95+ points Robert Parker Wine Advocate: "The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is from a highly anticipated vintage. Typified by cool weather and an even and long ripening period, the season was a relief after the three warm, low-yielding and dry vintages that preceded it. Many of the 2021s are only just starting to come onto the market now, so it is with great anticipation that I taste this today. The aromatics are saturated by cassis, raspberry, blackberry pie and clove bud. The oak sits prominently at this stage, but it is clearly a match for the fruit—an all-important feature. In the mouth, the wine is cool and full, with ductile, pliable tannins that shape the fruit as it proceeds over the tongue. The fruit is pleasingly varietal and fine. Very good indeed."
