The Wine Advocate / David Schlldknecht: "The star status of Tim Frohlich and the Schafer-Frohlich estate - as well as the professional qualifications and dedication of the rest of the Frohlich family and their role in achieving extraordinary results - are by now well-established facts." 95 points Felseneck Grosses Gewächs 2007 (sammen med et par andre, den højeste bedømmelse til tør Riesling 2007!) 94 points Riesling Spätlese GK "Bockenauer Felseneck" 2007 93 points Halenberg Grosses Gewächs 2007 92 points Kupfergrube Grosses Gewächs 2007 92 points Felsenberg Grosses Gewächs 2007 90 points Riesling Schlossböckelheim Trocken 2007

Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: For most of this decade, everything that Tim Frohlich has touched turned to gold. Two thousand seven is no exception. Perhaps the late-harvest wines are not as noble as those of 2005, but the entire collection is first-class-and this is one of the few estates that made trockenbeerenauslese and eiswein. I marked 17 of the 25 wines I tasted here with 90 points or more...If you don't like these wines, riesling is not your game. 95 points Halenberg Spätlese 2007 93 points Felseneck GK Spätlese 2007 93 points Felseneck Spätlese 2007 93 points Halenberg Grosses Gewächs 2007 93 points Kupfergrube Grosses Gewächs 2007 92 points Felseneck Grosses Gewächs 2007 91 points Felsenberg Grosses Gewächs 2007
Gault Millau 2009:: To af Schäfer-Fröhlich's Spätleser er blandt årets 10 bedste.
The Wine Advocate / David Schlldknecht: 90 pts. 2007 Riesling Halbtrocken "The word "halbtrocken" does not even appear on the labels here, but only the misleading "medium-dry" - misleading because this superbly-balanced wine finishes virtually dry in taste. Intense aromas of cassis, huckleberry, lemon zest, and pungent herbs and spices lead to a bright, subtly bitter, zesty palate that reveals varied and savory mineral notes and leads to an amazingly zesty and invigorating finish. I recently had my next-to-last bottle of one of Schafer-Frohlich's generic 2002s, which keeps getting better, and his 2006 collection is sensational...The daring with which young Tim Frohlich and his parents have approached their work over the past several years and their audacious success in crafting riveting Rieslings that marry intense fruit and distinctive minerality has left me astonished...in short, there isn't a more exciting winery to watch out for in Germany today"
Wine Spectator: Bedste Spätlese i årgang 2006: Schäfer-Fröhlich, Bockenauer Felseneck
